Over 60 Fellows and guests attended the annual East Anglian event organised by Fellow Patrick Faircliffe. This year, to mark the Diamond Jubilee, Fellows were fortunate in being able to visit the Museum on the Royal Estate at Sandringham, which was opened specially for the occasion.
In addition to the very interesting collection of vehicles used in the past, some just for Estate use, there were many other displays to see. After the morning visit we all went back to our normal venue at Knights Hill Hotel for a hearty lunch. With sales of raffle tickets, and donations made to BEN on the day, over £1,000 was raised. In appreciation for their generous hospitality at Sandringham a £250.00 donation was made to The Prince’s Trust and this has been gratefully received by them.
